This is our first attempt at vegan collection, all of the bags are handmade with peta approved plant-base materials. Vegan leather is made from natural raw materials such as wood, cereals, corn, fruits, and vegetables. Unlike fossil-derived synthetic leather (plastic leather), vegan leather doesn’t involve any plastic components for its production. Besides that, certificated vegan leather has less impact on human health, environment, climate change, global warming than a traditional product coming from petroleum.
This tote bag is hand weaving made with full grain leather. Is genuine leather sustainable? The skin used to make leather comes from animals raised for their meat. In that sense, it uses a byproduct from another industry, so it doesn't actually need additional land and resources. Many premium leather crafters even guarantee their work to last for decades, even up to 100 years. This is because genuine leather is simply built to last thanks to natural durability.
