Sook Stainable was founded in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy in 2021, during a time when the world felt quiet and uncertain. What began as a personal way to reconnect with creativity slowly became a brand — a space to express imagination, and to rebuild a sense of connection with life through design. As an independent brand, we focus on thoughtful material selection and craftsmanship, creating pieces meant to feel delicate, fresh, and timeless in everyday life.

Our journey began with certified plant-based leather bags, driven by a concern for environmental impact and the growing burden of fashion waste and plastic-based materials. As we evolved, we expanded into recycled leather as well — not as opposition, but as another material with its own value, longevity, and place in a more considered approach to design.

We believe sustainability is not defined by a single material, but by intention — how something is made, how long it lasts, and how it is cared for. Handmade production is an essential part of this philosophy, allowing us to stay close to the process and to the people who bring each piece to life.
